Known as one of the most beautiful places in Austria and the world, Hallstatt truly shines in summer with the lush green tones of its forests, crystal-clear lake, and surrounding mountains.

According to many travelers, there is no single “best” season to visit Hallstatt. “Each season brings a different charm to Hallstatt, making it a magical place worth visiting at any time of the year,” shared Ha Tomas, a Vietnamese photographer living in the Czech Republic who has visited Hallstatt many times over the years.

The town of Hallstatt covers an area of nearly 60 km², located in Gmunden District, Upper Austria. It lies on the southwestern shore of Lake Hallstatt and on the slopes of Hoher Dachstein Mountain in the Salzkammergut region. In May, the American travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler ranked Hallstatt among the 50 most beautiful towns in the world.
